Aquitaine Vintage AVO pays tribute to Bertrand De Passemar
“Bertrand was a great character in the world of collecting. A precursor of the time when nobody
did not dwell on old cars. The one who gave us the virus, the one who trusted us, by putting his
JAGUAR E "flat floor" back on the road, from the height of our 19 years (that was a long time ago...)
My first restored v8 was still thanks to him, and not just any! that of his magnificent
Cadillac Eldorado from 1953. I remember our walks on the roads of Bergerac with its
Porsche 911S, or its exceptional AC bristol, on which I had the honor of working, under the view
of its masterpieces: (recently retromobile) the special Casimir Ragot (built bordelaise!) and the
motorbike of the same name. Thank you Bertrand, he who affectionately called me Master Sam,
and yet he was indeed the Master. We have a very special thought for his children:
Guillaume, Claire, and Axelle.

Les
Chevaliers De L'arbre A Cames pays tribute to Bertrand De Passemar :
“A faithful Knights appointment left us suddenly a few days ago now...
Bertrand de Passemar, local figure in the world of vintage cars, here in his museum with his
fabulous and unique Ragot, was often present at our monthly magazines aboard his Type E, AC
Bristol and many other models... Bertrand was a passionate and inexhaustible narrator on the
history of his beloved cars. We will miss his smile and his automotive anecdotes...

Jean-Pierre Lombard pays tribute to Bertrand De Passemar :
“I went to see him at his home when the museum was closed due to the death of his wife. He
came out of his house because he heard the sound of the T-Bird! We talked for a long time
and he had shown me around his museum. How sad to learn that he too is gone. But he was
so attached to his wife. They are together again”

Gaétan pays tribute to Bertrand De Passemar :
“It was this gentleman who gave me the taste for collecting, the taste for patience in
unearthing rare or unique cars, he always encouraged me and welcomed me with open arms.

Sylvie F. pays tribute to Bertrand De Passemar :
"One of the last outings we organized, with the presence of our friends "Les Fous de l'auto",
who loved this visit! Bertrand left to join his wife, who died just a year ago.
The many good memories we have of them remain! Rest in peace, friend. »
